Panopticon is a cyber security company which provides security solutions to organisations and colleges.

The concept came from the “watchful” and the idea of a panopticon building. Hexagon felt like a good space to start from. Using that as a base we worked on multiple concepts. The final idea that we decided to develop was the design with smaller elements connecting to the main body. That helped getting the network element of the branding across.

We also wanted to make sure that the logo works in grayscale and monochrome because the marketing material would be in both print and on web. Choosing an orange and brown color scheme instead of the green/blue that you usually find in cyber space brands, was to make the association with the academia crisp.
